How we are dealing with COVID-19

In recent times we have all had to adapt how we live and how we work, especially in the cleaning industry.

Now more than ever our clients are relying on us to provide a cleaning service to ensure that they feel safe in their working environment.

Here at Atlantic Cleaning we want to reassure our clients that our cleaning operatives and supervisors are trained to the highest standards. We have worked in the medical sector for over 20 years working to their specification and adapting our service to meet the high hygiene standards needed to adhere to the demands of the CQC(Care Quality Commission). The same level of cleaning is applied across all our sites.

We constantly review our methods in how we can help protect our clients and staff as well as following government guidelines and advice.

In addition to our regular cleaning we are also offering additional services to help minimise the spread of the virus.

Fogging

Fogging is in high demand with many clients now booking as part of their regular cleaning service or as a one off. Fogging is also carried out in the event of a confirmed COVID-19 case.

Atlantic Cleaning Services infection control fogging solution uses a vaporisation treatment that disperses non-toxic, non-corrosive disinfectant in to the air killing 99.9% of known viruses, bacteria and fungi including Coronavirus.

The fogging gets in hard to reach places, disinfects the whole room, floor to ceiling ensuring that the room/area is safe to re-enter. There is then a final thorough wipe down of all high traffic services. Due to its speed and far reaching capabilities, the treatment causes minimal disruption and is ten times faster than traditional cleaning methods.

In the event of a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case we have an emergency team ready to attend the site in full PPE and carry out the required service.

Pre-Opening Clean

We know that it can be a daunting thought to return to offices or places of work during the ongoing pandemic and we want to make this time as stress free as possible by making your site COVID secure for your re-opening and put your mind at ease.

Our trained team of cleaning operatives would carry out a risk assessment of the site determining which key areas need to be focused on such as high traffic touch points – door handles, switches and hand rails. We would then carry out a deep clean of the area/site. We can also fog the space as an extra precaution.

COVID-19 Deep Clean

COVID-19 Deep cleaning is part of a specialist cleaning service, it is different to that of general cleaning as it covers deep grime or dirt that may have accumulated over time in places that wouldn’t be covered in an everyday clean, therefore covering tasks which are beyond the regular cleaning service.

Consumables and Signage

As part of an additional service we can supply and install hand sanitising units, one of our representatives would determine how many you would need for you specific site and where they should be installed. Refills are also available. We can also supply floor and wall signage for your site to assist your staff and visitors with maintaining social distancing and following the guidelines.
